Messaging Policy

How core.club uses SMS text messaging: what we send, how you opt in, and how to opt out. core.club sends transactional text messages only, never marketing.

§ 01

Who sends these messages

core.club is a club and community management platform. All text messages described on this page are sent by core.club on behalf of an existing member who is inviting someone to their club or sports pool.

§ 02

What messages we send

We send invitation text messages only. When a club administrator or member invites someone to their club or to a sports pool on core.club, we send that person a one-time SMS with a link to join. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and this number is not used for account login or verification codes.

  • An invitation to join a club on core.club, with a link to accept
  • An invitation to join a specific sports pool within a club, with a link to accept
§ 04

Sample messages

  • "Derek invited you to join Sunrise Yoga on core.club! Join: https://core.club/invite/… Reply STOP to opt out."
  • "Derek invited you to the Week 1 NFL pool at Sunrise Yoga on core.club! Join: https://core.club/invite/… Reply STOP to opt out."
§ 05

Message frequency and rates

Volume is low. In most cases a person receives a single invitation text when they are invited. An administrator may occasionally resend a pending invitation. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

§ 06

How to opt out

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message from core.club. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further texts. Reply HELP to any message for help. You can also turn off SMS in your notification settings, or remove your phone number from your account.

§ 07
